Family Botanicals is a family owned and operated business located in a
mountain surrounded valley in southern Oregon. We custom formulate and
hand process natural skin care products in small, carefully controlled
batches assuring optimum freshness and quality.
We use only the finest sustainable
botanical oils, organic herbs, and natural ingredients that we can find.
If we wouldn't want it touching our skin we certainly won't sell it or
add it to our products! |
The essentials oils we use are aromatherapy
quality and are pure and undiluted. We support Fair-Trade and purchase
from these and other sustainable organizations when possible.
Through our years of research and
personal experience we have discovered that many of the skin care products
on the market today are not only unwholesome but contain harsh synthetic
ingredients and are potentially dangerous. The companies selling these
products make lofty, far-fetched claims that are confusing and misleading.
Informing others about these harmful substances and making available holistic,
natural alternatives for health and beauty is our desire and the driving
force behind our company.
Recycling, reducing, and reusing
has been a way of life for our family before those terms were even popular
and we naturally incorporate these standards into our home business. Since
our business began in 2002 we have never purchased packing peanuts or bubble
wrap. Instead we collect and reuse clean packing materials from local businesses
that would have normally thrown it all into the landfill.
We have dedicated our family business
to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who continues to bless and prosper
us. We are thankful that we are able to produce and be a source of skin
nourishing, wholesome alternatives to mainstream skin care products. May
