How to use: You can use these
essential oils in an oil
burner to create an aroma-therapeutic atmosphere, or add a few drops
of essential oil to water in a spray bottle and spritz for a refreshing
pick-me-up or to freshen a room, especially a bedroom of someone who's
been sick.
Some essential oils, like Lavender,
can be applied directly to the skin (check cautions noted). A little goes
a long way!

Skin Care: Bergamot is helpful
for skin conditions such as acne, cold sores, eczema and psoriasis.
Aromatherapy benefits: A wonderful
citrus scent to create a cheery, uplifting atmosphere! Can lessen anxiety,
depression, and stress-related conditions. Has been traditionally
used in folk medicine to relieve fever and colds.
Cautions: Do not use straight (neat)
on the skin, only diluted in a carrier oil such as avocado
or jojoba oil.
Our Bergamot is bergaptene free.
Skin Care: Lavender is good for all
skin types and many different skin conditions respond favorably to Lavender,
especially eczema, psoriasis, inflammations, dermatitis, acne, burns, sunburns
and rashes.
Aromatherapy benefits: Lavender is
very aromatic. It is soothing to the nervous system relieving nervous tension,
and also soothing to the digestive system and will help your child relax
when he has a tummy ache. Rub some Lavender oil into your temples
to ease a headache, or to help encourage a peaceful nights sleep.
Cautions: Use with care during pregnancy,
but great for use during labor.
Skin Care: Patchouli is an
excellent healing oil for the skin, especially for oily, acne prone skin,
also dermatitis, eczema, dandruff, fungal infections, cracked and chapped
skin, and wrinkles.
Aromatherapy benefits: Relieves nervous
exhaustion and stress related complaints.
Skin Care: Peppermint is helpful
for acne, and dermatitis.
Aromatherapy benefits: Refreshing.
Clears negative energy. Can help relieve mental fatigue, headaches, nervous
stress, and dizziness. Soothing to an upset stomach.
Cautions: Avoid during pregnancy.

Pink Grapefruit
Essential Oil (citrus x paradisi)
Actions:Anitseptic and astringent
properties.
Skin Care: Use as a facial wash (diluted
in water) to tone and control acne and oily skin.

Rosemary
Essential Oil (rosmarinus officinalis)
Actions: Antimicrobial and antiseptic
qualities.
Skin Care: Stimulates and warms the
skin and relaxes the muscles. Add some rosemary essential oil to jojoba
oil for an excellent hot oil hair treatment that can help stimulate hair
growth and control dandruff.
Aromatherapy benefits: Helps to purify
the air in a sick room and relieve lung complaints.
Caution: Avoid during pregnancy.
Do not use straight (neat) on the skin, only diluted in a carrier oil such
as avocado or jojoba oil.
Skin Care: Great for all fungal infections,
althlete's foot, ringworm, and cold sores. Use on abscess', acne, dandruff,
insect bites, warts and wounds.
Aromatherapy benefits: Cleansing,
purifying, and uplifting. Dilute in water in a spritzer bottle to spray
in a sick room to help purify the air.
Home: Add a few drops of Tea Tree
to your washing machine while washing to sanitize clothes. Also add to
water for washing kitchen and bathroom countertops.
